What is the Business Leadership School?

The Business Leadership School is a two year distance learning course designed to equip owners, corporate executives, managers, and those aspiring to positions of leadership to engage the marketplace through the framework of the Scriptures. It combines two years of distance learning under the care of a trained facilitator with a one week Intensive held every February.

What is the Business Intensive?

The Business Leadership Intensive is three days of instruction that will profoundly enhance your vision and thinking in regards to the responsibility of Christian leaders to impact the way the world does business. The Intensive is open to all business owners, executives, managers and those aspiring to positions of leadership.

The Intensive is conducted in an interactive format, combining plenary sessions, group discussions, special breakout sessions, and an excellent opportunity to network among other believers who are serving God and making an impact in the marketplace

Are their prerequisites to my enrollment in the course?

There are no prerequisites to enroll in BLS100, which is the introductory course of the school. To go further in your studies you must complete BLS100 and attend a BLS Intensive prior to enrollment in BLS200.

When can I attend an Intensive?

You can attend the Intensive at any time, with no obligation for enrollment. It is open to all who are interested in business. Those wishing to enroll in the Business Leadership School are required to attend the Intensive at least once during their studies.

When can I enroll in the Business Leadership 100 course?

You can enroll in the BLS100 course any time during open enrollment which runs from January through May. Once enrolled you will be assigned a facilitator to help you through the materials.

When can I enroll in the Business Leadership 200 course?

You can enroll in the BLS200 course with the approval of your facilitator and completion of BLS100 course. You must also attend a BLS Intensive prior to enrollment.

It's too late for me to enroll in BLS this year- what can I do?

If you missed the period of open enrollment and are excited for the school there are several things you can do to be better prepared for enrollment the following year and to begin active study. One of the best ways to begin is to enroll in, or lead your own, Doing Business God's Way study group. We have a practical small group series with materials that include an extensive leaders guide, student workbook, and PowerPoint Presentation. This study is one of the best ways to engage the Kingdom perspective on business and economics. Other materials that are not part of the BLS Curriculum that can engage you in Kingdom economics are The Management Series, Strategic Thinking, and Wealth, Riches, & Money. How do I become a course facilitator?

All course facilitators are graduates of the course themselves. To become a facilitator you must have completed both BLS100 and BLS200 and received a recommendation from your facilitator.

Can my spouse enroll? Is there a discount?

BLS has a one flesh policy. The spouse of a full paid student can enroll in the course tuition free, at any time during open enrollment. If they would like their own set of materials they will need to purchase these separately. To receive credit, they must notify the office of their enrollment during open enrollment. Students requesting credit past the open enrollment period will not receive it.

What is your refund/return policy?

Those choosing to discontinue their enrollment in the course within 90 days will receive 3/4 of the tuition fee refunded less the curriculum cost. The curriculum is theirs to keep. Those choosing to discontinue past 90 days of enrollment will not receive a refund; the materials are theirs to keep. If, for any reason, the product is faulty, we will replace it promptly. We welcome your input as to how our products can be improved to better serve you.

How long will it take my order to ship?

We do our best to ship orders within 48 hours of receiving them. Occasionally, if we have high volumes of orders or events, it may take up to 4 business days to ship. All orders are sent via Priority mail. Average orders are received usually within 2 weeks of placement.

Do you sell/distribute my personal information, including email addresses?

No. We keep all your information private and for use only by the SCS International offices.

Our organization roots are non-denominational but we also interact with many different denominations to help in spreading the Kingdom message.

The Business Leadership School is governed by the international board of Strategic Christian Services. SCS is a nonprofit with 501 c3 status. We are governed by a board who review our financial reports semi-annually.
